We start a business with different products, which would produce batteries for laptops and notebooks. The biggest part in making those batteries is cylindrical Lithium-Ion cell, with 18 mm diameter and 65 mm length (those have usually mark 18650 in catalogues) and capacity about 2200 mAh. We have already contacted home importers Contrel (Panasonic/GP), VRR (Varta), ASF International (Sony/Maxell), Beks (Sanyo) and we got some prices, those would be close to the edge of profitability.
We tried to find Chinese producers on Internet and we have found out that there are about 20 different producers of Li-Ion cells “18650”.
Because of very responsible production, the cells we search for must be very good quality product. We are mainly interested in producers which make service production for Sony, Panasonic, Sanyo, GP or Varta.
The amount that we would be interested in is 1,000 cells per a month in the beginning. Later, with arise of our production this amount would climb to 3,000 cells per a month.
We are also interested in distribution of complete production program manufacturers in Serbia, Slovak Republic and Germany.
