longer fluid life, cleaner vacuums, and better pump down times than hydrocarbons and

9 is designed for applications where extreme high
temperature or adverse environments are expected. Its low vapor pressure and low
back streaming rate make LN2 traps unnecessary for the 10 -8 Torr range. It is
compatible with most metals and elastomers, commonly used in high temperature
applications and does not react with the gases most commonly found in high vacuum
